Located in the Hollerich district in the immediate vicinity of the shopping street of Strasbourg, at 117 rue Adolphe Fischer and 15 rue du Commerce, CARACTÈRES redraws the contours of the capital and participates in the renewal of this site full of history with the former location of the Imprimerie Centrale.

 

CODIC HOME acquired the site in July 2022 and designed, together with the Luxembourg architects’ offices Tetra Kayser Associés and ARCHi2000&Associés, a residential development consisting of 4 residences that will offer 120 high-quality lodgings, including 9 penthouses, nestled in an exceptional private landscaped park of more than 1.000m² . The set of 4 buildings is oriented on a North-South axis with a park ideally exposed to the South that will benefit from a maximum of sunshine throughout the year. The development of CODIC HOME, dubbed CARACTÈRES, pays homage to the Central Printing House, a historic player in the district, whose printing and rotary presses have punctuated its daily life for more than 60 years. The name is therefore a nod to history and, to extend the metaphor, each residence will bear the name of a font: Arial, Berkeley, Calibri and Davis.
